Tyus Jones Questionable Against Phoenix
10 months agoWashington Wizards guard Tyus Jones (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game versus Phoenix. He tweaked his ankle during Friday's outing with the Miami Heat, ending his night after 26 minutes of action. There's a good chance the team will keep the 27-year-old off the floor against the Suns, meaning his next opportunity to suit up will be for Wednesday's clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But if Jones isn't active, Jordan Poole will presumably take over most of the ball-handling duties. With Kyle Kuzma (shoulder) out, Corey Kispert, who had 26 points against the Heat, will likely enter the starting lineup, with Landry Shamet and Delon Wright getting more work from off the bench.
