Tytus Howard Undergoes Surgery On Broken Hand
1 year agoHouston Texans offensive tackle Tytus Howard (hand) underwent surgery to repair his broken hand on Monday. Head coach DeMeco Ryans said he will be out for "a while." It's a tough break for Houston's offensive line, as Howard just earned a three-year, $56 million deal with an $18 million signing bonus and $36.5 million guaranteed. It's unclear exactly how long the stud right tackle will be out, but he could be at risk of missing the regular season opener against the fierce Baltimore Ravens defense -- meaning quarterbacks C.J. Stroud or Davis Mills could face additional pressure.
