Ty'Son Williams To Be Used In Committee
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman said that running back Ty'Son Williams will be used in a committee. In their Monday night loss against the Las Vegas Raiders, Williams started the game and was the primary running back for most of the first half. In the second half, however, fellow running back Latavius Murray saw his usage increase in favor of Williams, which Roman said is a pattern he thinks will continue. The Ravens running back room is unspectacular given their three season-ending injuries from before the season, so Roman may have to stray from his words if Williams is clearly the Ravens' best runner. Furthermore, the 25-year-old didn't play that well on Monday as most of his production came from 35-yard long run where the defense collapsed. Fantasy managers should try to avoid starting Williams in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he's still an RB3.
