Tyson Ross Looks To Stay Hot Against Nationals
7 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Tyson Ross will go for his sixth quality start in seven tries Monday when he takes the ball at home against the Washington Nationals. Ross has had a resurgent 2018 campaign so far, sporting a 3.28 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 10.1 K/9. Along with rookie starter Joey Lucchesi, Ross has been a bright spot in a weak Padres starting rotation. Ross will get two starts at home this week, where he boasts a strong 2.78 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 268 2/3 career innings. He has tough draws against the Nationals on Monday night and the St. Louis Cardinals later this week but is worth a look as a two-start streaming option.
