Tyson Ross Knocks Down Third Quality Start Of May
7 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Tyson Ross went six innings, giving up five hits, two runs, and four walks while striking out two in the 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres. While Ross was rewarded with the win and the quality start, he also allowed nine baserunners in the game and will need to cut those down if he wishes to continually pitch like he has this year. On the season, he currently holds a 3-3 record with a 3.35 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 53 2/3 innings pitched. He should be owned in all deep formats and is a top streaming candidate in shallower formats.
