Tyson Miller Acquired In Trade, Daniel Hudson Moved To 60-Day IL
1 year agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers acquired right-hander Tyson Miller from the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations after Miller was designated for assignment last week. In a corresponding move, the team moved reliever Daniel Hudson (knee) to the 60-day injured list to make room on the 40-man roster. Miller will report to Triple-A Oklahoma City after allowing six earned runs on nine hits while walking three and striking out seven in 9 1/3 relief innings in Milwaukee this year. Hudson figures to miss most of the rest of the regular season in 2023 after spraining the MCL in his right knee during his lone save before the All-Star break. The 36-year-old veteran right-hander won't be able to return until early September.
