Tyrrell Hatton Looks To Rebound
2 years agoFor a few moments on Sunday afternoon, it looked like Tyrrell Hatton was primed to repeat his 2020 triumph at Bay Hill. However, a three-putt on the Par 5 12th, followed by sloppy bogies at 13 and 17, saw Hatton fall back into a tie for fourth, coming just two shots short of his second PGA Tour win. The fiery Englishman will have to rebound quickly heading into Sawgrass, where he's had mixed results to this point of his career. Hatton's most notable Players Championship result was in a 13th-place finish last year on the back of his second-best putting week ever on the PGA Tour (8.4 strokes gained). If he can match that putting prowess with the ball-striking we saw in Orlando, Hatton will once again be a force to be reckoned with this week.
