Tyrrell Hatton Has Putting Upside
3 years agoTyrrell Hatton is understandably low-owned in fantasy, as his top-10 finish at the Wyndham two weeks ago was his first top-10 result since March. Hatton has typically thrived on courses with longer approach shots, which makes his recent improvements on approach tough to trust heading to a course where he will find himself in proximity zones that he has historically struggled immensely from. His putter and short game have also shown an uptick in production, which may be just enough to frugally invest in Hatton at his current ownership and price.

Tyrrell Hatton Looking For First Major Top-10 Finish This Season
2 years agoTyrrell Hatton is in the midst of a phenomenal season. Hatton has seven top-10 finishes and is now ranked No.13 in the Official World Golf Ranking. However, none of those high finishes came during major events. Hatton was T34 at The Masters, T27 at the U.S. Open, and T15 at the PGA Championship. These finishes are slightly disappointing due to how well Hatton has played this season. Hatton has all the skills to win any week but will need to put it all together to contend for a major championship.

Tyrrell Hatton A Solid Option In Scotland
2 years agoIt was a top-25 finish for Tyrrell Hatton in the 2022 edition of the Scottish Open, and he comes into the 2023 version as hot as any player on the PGA Tour. Hatton has taken the last couple of weeks off, but he will look for his eighth-straight top-30 finish this week. In that run, Hatton has five top-15 finishes, and three inside the top-five. Hatton continues to sit inside the top-20 on the PGA Tour in all of the major strokes gained categories, highlighted by his third-place ranking in strokes gained total. With links golf being the challenge this week, there is no reason to believe Hatton will struggle in the final week before the season's final major.

Tyrrell Hatton Continues To Be An Elite Option
2 years agoMake it six straight top-20 finishes for Tyrrell Hatton on the PGA Tour, with three being top-five finishes, after a T3 last week at the RBC Canadian Open. Hatton has been one of, if not the best, player on the PGA Tour since the start of April, and somehow he doesn't have a win to show for it. With his recent results, it should be no surprise Hatton sits inside the top 20 in all of the major strokes-gained categories, highlighted by his third-place ranking in strokes-gained total. Staying in the fairway will be key this week, and Hatton sits 55th on tour in driving-accuracy percentage, hitting nearly 62% of fairways this year. Hatton also sits inside the top 15 on tour in greens-in-regulation percentage from 200-plus yards out, another key stat this week. Hatton continues to be an elite option in all contests.

Tyrrell Hatton An Elite Option At RBC Canadian Open
2 years agoA win is on the horizon for Tyrrell Hatton after yet another top-15 finish last week in Ohio. Hatton now has five straight top-20 finishes and seven top-20 finishes in his last nine starts on the PGA Tour. Although he missed the only cut of his career at the RBC Canadian Open, Hatton is still a great option this week. Hatton is one of the few players in the field who excels in all of the key stats for the week. Hatton is making over half of his putts from inside 10 feet, hitting over 61% of fairways, and hitting over 65% of greens in regulation. Hatton should be looked in as an elite option in all contests.
