Tyrod Taylor Picking Up Third Straight Start
1 year agoNew York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor will start for the third straight game as the Giants take on the New York Jets. Starter Daniel Jones (neck) isn't cleared to play and there's no timetable for his return. The veteran is coming off a performance against Washington where he threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 29 yards on the ground. The matchup this time around is far more difficult. The Jets' defense allows under 20 points per game to opposing offenses. The Giants have arguably played better with Taylor under center than they did with Jones but he's a player to avoid this week in single quarterback leagues. Taylor is a low-end QB2 in Superflex or 2QB formats.
