2 years agoIndiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton (wrist) has been deemed questionable to suit up for Friday's contest vs. Miami due to a sore right wrist. The league's leading assist man at 10.6 per game was able to play through the ailment Wednesday en route to a 33-point shooting. An absence from Haliburton would vault T.J. McConnell onto many DFS radars, while Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin would also likely see elevated ball-handling and distributing duties. Haliburton's prior outing against the Heat was a clunker, as he was held to 0-for-9 shooting and just one point across 33 minutes on Dec. 12. Fantasy managers will want to check back prior to tip-off for the final word on his status.--Jesse Borek

6 days agoIndiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hip) won't play on Monday against the Bulls. The 25-year-old has missed the last two games because of a hip injury. But he was observed taking shots on Monday night, so fantasy managers shouldn't rule him out when the Pacers meet the Bucks on Tuesday. T.J. McConnell (ankle) is questionable, meaning Andrew Nembhard may be tasked with handling the ball more than usual.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

1 week agoIndiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hip) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Haliburton will miss his second game in a row due to a left hip strain. His next chance to get on the court will be Monday versus the Chicago Bulls. T.J. McConnell and Andrew Nembhard will continue to see increased playing time with Haliburton unavailable for this contest. It's also worth noting that Benedict Mathurin (wrist) is available to play, so he could see more scoring responsibilities on Saturday. Mathurin is the best fantasy choice here, but it's unclear if the team plans to limit his minutes during his first game back. That being said, fantasy managers might want to be cautious and avoid Mathurin in DFS contests.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

1 week agoIndiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hip) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Haliburton sat out Thursday's game and is in danger of missing a second straight contest due to a lingering hip issue. If he sits, Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell are expected to see increased roles in the rotation. Nembhard is already averaging nearly 30 minutes per game, so it's unclear how many more minutes he'd receive. McConnell would likely see a spike in fantasy value, but fantasy managers will have to check back on Haliburton's status on Saturday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

1 week agoIndiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks. He will be sidelined for only the second time this season. The Pacers also remain without Bennedict Mathurin (wrist), resulting in Jarace Walker joining the starting lineup on Thursday. Aaron Nesmith, Ben Sheppard, and T.J. McConnell should be in line for additional work as well.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
