Tyrell Hatton's Short Game Should Bounce Back In Illinois
1 year agoTyrell Hatton peaked in Europe, gaining almost 15 strokes to the field in the Genesis Scottish Open and The Open combined. However, he strangely struggled on and around the greens last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, dropping a combined 3.7 strokes in those areas. Such a drop-off in both of his strongest areas is a bit concerning, but the most likely situation this week must be a bounce back in at least one of the two. The hope for those who ride the Hatton roller coaster is that his off-the-tee and approach numbers remain sharp while the other two categories regress positively. Olympia Fields should play tough this late in the season with a trip to Atlanta on the line, and that should also play into Hatton's hands. While there is always risk when rostering the 31-year-old Englishman, fantasy managers can do much worse than turning to Hatton's massive upside at just $9,000 this week.
