Tyreek Hill Says His Foot Is Bad
6 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill (foot) said his foot was bad after the Week 14 overtime win over the Ravens. “Our people did a tremendous job wrapping my foot,” Hill said. “I was still feeling my heel, but at the same time, I knew that man, if you want the W, if you want to be a great receiver, this is your moment to make plays.” Hill was hobbling pretty badly near the end of the game, but he remained in and made a crucial long catch on fourth down near the end of regulation. With a short week on Thursday against the Chargers, Hill's status is seriously up in the air. He had eight catches for 139 yards against Baltimore but may not be able to play this week. With Kareem Hunt gone, Sammy Watkins out for the rest of the regular season and Spencer Ware also dinged up, the Chiefs could be short-staffed in a huge divisional tilt that could decide the division in the AFC West. If Hill is unable to play, it'd mean bigger roles for Chris Conley, Demarcus Robinson and possibly even Kelvin Benjamin if he makes his team debut.
