Tyquan Thornton Officially Active For 2023 Debut
1 year agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (shoulder) is officially active for Week 6 versus the Las Vegas Raiders. The second-year deep threat was listed as questionable, but the fact that New England activated him from injured reserve on Saturday suggested that he was on track to play. Indeed, Thornton will make his 2023 debut and could have a sizable role right away. With JuJu Smith-Schuster (head) and Demario Douglas (head) out, Thornton figures to operate as the Patriots' No. 3 receiver behind Kendrick Bourne and DeVante Parker. Always a threat to make a big play, Thornton has appeal in dynasty leagues. However, he's not a worthwhile redraft option at this point, especially as the Patriots' offense struggles to move down the field.
