Tyler Wells Taking The Hill Sunday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles right-handed pitcher Tyler Wells is starting Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Braves. The 28-year-old has pitched well through his first six appearances (five starts) of the season, posting a 3.34 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, 20.8% strikeout rate, and 4.6% walk rate with two wins. The Braves offense will be a tough test for Wells, as they own a .817 OPS as a team. Fantasy managers may want to bench the third-year player in tough matchups, given his lack of strikeouts and 5.02 FIP. But if Wells can continue his solid run prevention, he's a good option against lackluster lineups.
