San Jose Sharks winger Tyler Toffoli (lower body) will miss Monday's game against the Calgary Flames. The veteran forward is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Nikolai Kovalenko, who has been a healthy scratch for six games, will enter the lineup as Toffoli's replacement. So far this season, Kovalenko has not contributed significantly, tallying six goals and 17 points in 51 appearances. However, he will have increased fantasy value on Monday as he partners with Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith on the first line. The Russian forward is also expected to see time with the first power-play unit.

San Jose Sharks winger Tyler Toffoli (lower body) is considered a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Toffoli recently missed three games due to a lower-body injury and may have to sit out some more action. He is two markers short of posting his sixth consecutive 20-goal campaign and has totaled 32 points in 51 games. Fellow forward Ty Dellandrea (upper body) is also a game-time call for Tuesday. He has missed three games with an upper-body injury. With Mikael Granlund now in Dallas, Dellandrea might find himself in a bigger role once he is back in the lineup.

San Jose Sharks winger Tyler Toffoli (lower body) will be back in action on Thursday against the Nashville Predators. He will return from a three-game absence to a second-line role, linking up with William Eklund and Macklin Celebrini. Toffoli had started to heat up before getting hurt, scoring in back-to-back games and notching four points in two contests. He has bagged 30 points (17 goals, 13 assists) in 47 across the campaign. Nashville has been below par defensively all season, which gives Toffoli a good chance to continue his recent upturn in form.

San Jose Sharks winger Tyler Toffoli (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against Boston. He remains day-to-day with a lower-body injury, missing a second straight game. Toffoli has posted 30 points (17 goals, 13 assists) in 47 games during his first campaign as a Shark, notching a third of the points with the man advantage. Carl Grundstrom took Toffoli's spot in the lineup on Saturday against the Islanders, with Ty Dellandrea getting a look in the top six. Alex Wennberg is projected to replace Dellandrea in that role on Monday.
