Tyler Stephenson Logs Three Hits In Win
3 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson had a terrific day at the plate on Thursday, going 3-for-4 as his club shut out the Pirates 4-0. The 25-year-old scored a pair and drove in a pair on two singles while also launching a solo home run off JT Brubaker to give him four long balls on the year. The multi-hit game was his third in as many games, and he's now hitting a sharp .349 with 13 runs and 19 RBI through 21 games this season. Despite a lackluster supporting cast, Stephenson should continue to post commendable numbers as a top-10 catcher the rest of the way.
