3 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson (head) has been diagnosed with a concussion. As a result of the diagnosis, he will be placed on the seven-day concussion injured list. Stephenson suffered the injury during the first inning of Tuesday's game. He was protecting home plate and San Diego Padres first baseman Luke Voit collided with him. Aramis Garcia took over behind the plate after Stephenson departed the game. Garcia will serve as the team's primary catcher while Stephenson is out.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
