1 year agoOakland Athletics catching prospect Tyler Soderstrom is crushing Triple-A pitching this season, slashing .254/.303/.536 with 20 bombs, 45 runs, 59 RBI, and no steals across 69 games. The 21-year-old looks MLB-ready and could get the call later in the season, though he's blocked at the backstop position by Shea Langeliers. Soderstrom can play first base or designated hitter, however, and the club will give him playing time any way they can once he's up. The top prospect remains a solid dynasty league option considering his elite raw power, but fantasy managers should leave him on the waiver wire in redraft formats.--Spencer Seguin
