Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin registered a goal and three assists as his team came up short in a 7-4 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Seguin's four-point effort was his second in four nights, following a two goal, two assist outing on Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets. Fresh off signing an eight-year extension with Dallas during training camp, the 26-year-old has gotten off to an excellent start to the 2018-2019 season. Seguin has now recorded eight points (three goals, five assists) in his team's first three games. The electric center will look to get his team back on track when they host the Ducks on Saturday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (hip) is expected to rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Nashville Predators. He has been activated from Long-Term Injured Reserve and is officially considered a game-time decision. Seguin has been out of action since Dec. 1. He underwent hip surgery a few days after his last appearance. The veteran had a productive start to the year, notching 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 19 games. He will be a valuable addition for the Stars' playoff run, but the team will also give Seguin a bit of regular-season action to shake off some rust.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin (hip) has been skating regularly and is "looking good." Head coach Peter DeBoer noted the forward is on track to return by the end of the season. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status, as he could be nearing a return during the final weeks of the season. Seguin has been sidelined since December after undergoing surgery. Before the operation, Seguin tallied 20 points (nine goals) across his first 19 games of the campaign. During this stretch, the 33-year-old has logged 43 shots on goal with four hits and six blocked shots. While Seguin remains sidelined, fantasy managers should continue to expect Mikael Granlund and Mason Marchment to remain on the second offensive line.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin will undergo hip surgery on Thursday, which will rule him out of action for 4-6 months. He's already missed five games this season, and it looks like Seguin won't return to the Stars lineup before the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs start. It's a shame because the veteran star was off to a productive start to the year. He has tallied 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 19 appearances. Logan Stankoven has already built up good momentum during the season and will have additional fantasy value with Seguin out of the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) has been placed on Injured Reserve ahead of Monday's game against Utah. The move is retroactive to Dec. 1, leaving Seguin ineligible for four games. Seguin has been battling a lower-body issue all season, missing four games already. Despite not being at 100 percent, the veteran star has done outstanding work, putting up 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 19 appearances. Logan Stankoven (lower body) will come back into the lineup on Monday to replace Seguin.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
