Tyler Rogers Earns Win Tuesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Tyler Rogers picked up his second win of the season in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Dodgers. Rogers entered to pitch the top of the eighth inning with the game tied. He allowed no runs on a single and a double with a strikeout. The Giants were able to score in the bottom half of the inning, making Rogers the winning pitcher on record. The side-armer has been great for the Giants all season long, posting a 1.91 ERA with 17 holds and 11 saves. It does look like Jake McGee is once again the favorite to see more save opportunities, but Rogers still holds value in deeper roto leagues, particularly saves/holds leagues.
