Tyler Rogers Earns Fifth Win Of Season Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Tyler Rogers picked up his fifth win of the season in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Brewers. Rogers entered the game in the eighth inning with the game tied at one and struck out the side. The Giants then scored four runs in the bottom half of the inning, making him the pitcher of record. Rogers has done it all for the Giants this season, going 5-1 with a 1.80 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 17.2% strikeout rate. He also has 24 holds and has converted 12 of 17 save opportunities. He may not be the most traditional fantasy player, but Rogers has provided fantasy value at some point this season in most formats and has definitely provided it all season in saves/holds leagues.
