Tyler Reddick's Solid Performance Is Derailed By Late Pit-Road Issues At Las Vegas
3 mins agoTyler Reddick of 23XI Racing finished 24th in Sunday's Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In the first stage, Reddick began the race from the 14th position and eventually made it as high as second before fading to 11th by the end of the stage. In the second stage, Reddick looked competitive as he ran most of the stage in the top five, even as others were using differing strategies. The No. 45 Toyota driver would get passed by a couple of drivers by the end of the second stage, as he ended it in ninth and barely scored stage points. In the final stage, Reddick made it to the lead for the first time in the race on lap 201. Reddick led a total of 34 laps for the race until he lost the lead to Daniel Suarez, and then when he went to pit road under green, the No. 45 team had trouble changing the left rear tire. Reddick would be unable to recover from this issue and finished 24th as a result.
