Tyler Reddick Quietly Nabs A Solid Top-10 Finish At Atlanta
3 months agoTyler Reddick of 23XI Racing placed sixth at the end of Sunday's Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Starting the race from the 23rd position, Reddick would methodically make his way through the pack as the race progressed. In the first stage, Reddick ascended a couple of positions and ended the stage in 17th place. During the second stage, Reddick would be involved in a pit road collision with Carson Hocevar during a caution, causing some damage. This damage, however, would not slow Reddick down, as he made it to 11th by the end of the second stage, falling short of nabbing stage points. In the race's final stage, Reddick avoided the crashes and quietly made it inside the Top 10 by the final restart. The No. 45 Toyota driver took advantage of other drivers making contact with each other as he passed them and was one position short of the Top 5 before the race was called under caution. This would be Reddick's second career top-10 finish at AMS since 2022 and his series-leading 19th of the 2024 season. Reddick will be one to watch in the next Cup Series race at Watkins Glen, where he has three top-10 finishes in three races at the site.
