Tyler Reddick Quietly Finishes The Daytona 500 As The Runner-Up
2 days ago23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick kept his car clean and ended up avoiding trouble in this year's Daytona 500, matching his career-best finishing position at Daytona. The No. 45 Toyota driver was quiet throughout the whole race but was able to score stage points by placing eighth at the end of stage one. In stage two, Reddick failed to score stage points as he finished the stage in 30th. It was the final stage where Reddick finally moved back up to the front, doing so during the race's final restart. Reddick restarted just outside of the top 10 behind William Byron, and on turn two of the final lap, when others were ahead of him, he went all the way to second as he avoided others crashing and chased down Byron. Ultimately, Reddick did not have enough speed and settled for a runner-up finish for the second time in his Cup career at Daytona.
