2 hours agoTyler Reddick of 23XI Racing had a strong performance during Sunday's Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway that fell short of victory. Beginning Sunday's race from the seventh position, Reddick showcased that he had a solid car compared to the field, running the entire first stage inside the top 10. He would gain stage points due to placing fifth at the end of the first stage. In the second stage, he ran as high as second and tried challenging for the lead with William Byron but could not pass him for the entire stage. After pit stops shuffled the field, Reddick ended the second stage in ninth and scored two more stage points. In the final stage, Reddick went up to the top five before running a pit strategy of pitting earlier for tires compared to most of the leaders. This worked as Reddick would inherit the lead after green flag pit stops until Ryan Blaney passed him on lap 290, right as the race's final caution came out. Reddick was second on the final restart and competed for the win but fell back to fourth after getting passed by William Byron and Christopher Bell. This would be Reddick's sixth career top-10 finish at Darlington in 12 starts and fourth overall for the 2025 season.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
