Tyler Reddick Continues His Top-10 Streak At COTA With Third-Place Finish
57 seconds ago23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick finished third during Sunday's EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. Reddick started the race as the pole-sitter at the front but was instantly involved in an incident on the first corner with multiple cars. Reddick maintained the lead before losing it on lap nine to Shane Van Gisbergen. The No. 45 Toyota driver ended the first stage in sixth after pitting before the end of the stage, scoring stage points in the process. Reddick quietly faded back to 13th in the second stage and missed out on more stage points, but he did make more progress in the final stage. Reddick made it back to the top 10 and eventually became a factor for the final battle for the win. After making it to fourth, Reddick caught the lead pack of Kyle Busch, Christopher Bell, and William Byron after Bell and Byron struggled to get past Busch until five laps to go. Reddick made it past Busch for third, but eventually, as he put it in a post-race interview, he "ran out of steam, ran out of tire a bit there." Reddick is now the only driver in the Cup Series to finish in the top 10 of all five COTA races.
