Tyler Reddick started last season strong in his No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro by finishing 11th in the race, and he had high hopes in his return, albeit with a new team. Due to his 39th-place finish at Daytona after completing 117 laps, Reddick started 35th in the Pala Casino 400 at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday. Reddick was having a strong day, making his way to 16th at the end of Stage 1. However, this placed him right at the center of the stack-up at the start of Stage 2. Reddick was only able to move up one position and finished the race on Lap 87 in 34th place. Reddick will look ahead to Las Vegas now, a track that he has finished sixth, seventh and sixth, respectively, in the last three races.--Eric DeWilde
