2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners. This appears to be a routine rest day for the 27-year-old slugger. The Cardinals have a crowded outfield, so O'Neill is just the odd man out for tonight's game. Lars Nootbaar will cover center field and bat seventh against right-hander George Kirby on Friday. The expectation is that O'Neill will return next game, but he could see plenty of rest days with the Cardinals current outfield situation.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
