Tyler O'Neill Set For Rehab Outing At Triple-A Monday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Memphis on Monday. He will serve as designated hitter for his first game on Monday. He'll then play in left field on Wednesday and Thursday and he'll be re-evaluated after that. If things all go well, he could be back in the majors by Friday. O'Neill has been out since June 20 due to a left hamstring strain. Over 45 games this year, he's slashed .241/.292/.361 with four home runs, six stolen bases, 28 RBI and 22 runs.
