Tyler O'Neill Scratched On Friday
3 months agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill (finger) has been scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The organization said that O'Neill was pulled from the lineup due to finger inflammation. It sounds like a minor issue, so fantasy managers should consider O'Neill as day-to-day. In his place, Rob Refsnyder will cover left field and bat fifth versus right-hander Ryne Nelson. Refsnyder has surprisingly been solid with the bat this season. He's hitting .294 with eight home runs and 33 RBI in 78 games this season. He's worth a look as a low-end streaming option until O'Neill is back in the mix.
