Tyler O'Neill Out Again On Tuesday
4 months agoAs expected, Boston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill (illness) remains out of the starting lineup for the fourth straight game on Tuesday against the hosting Kansas City Royals due to a stomach bug. Manager Alex Cora said on Monday that O'Neill probably won't be back in the starting lineup until Wednesday, so fantasy managers will want to check back then. With the 29-year-old still under the weather, Jarren Duran will start in left field and bat leadoff and Ceddanne Rafaela will play center field and hit in the nine-hole against Royals right-hander Seth Lugo. For his power alone, O'Neill is worth starting in most fantasy leagues when he's active. He's currently sitting on 22 long balls, 45 RBI and 59 runs in his first year in Beantown in 80 games played. O'Neill has been hot since the All-Star break, hitting .354 (17-for-48) with six homers, four doubles and 14 RBI in 12 games.
