Tyler O'Neill Hits His Second Home Run On Wednesday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill had a massive game in the team's 10-0 win over the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. He went 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored. The home run was just his second of the year and his first since Opening Day. The 26-year-old has been struggling at the plate so far this year. Through 23 games, he's slashing .202/.276/.333 with three stolen bases, 17 RBI and 13 runs. He's making hard contact just 35.9% of the time, down from 52.2% last year, and his average exit velocity is down from 93 mph last year to 88.6 mph this year.
