Tyler O'Neill Back In Action Tuesday
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill is back in the starting lineup Tuesday night against the Baltimore Orioles and left-hander John Means, who is making his first start back from Tommy John surgery. O'Neill didn't take part in his club's 12-5 series-opening loss on Monday but will take over in left field and hit sixth on Tuesday while Alec Burleson hits the bench. O'Neill has recovered from a slow start to produce a solid season thanks to an .840 OPS along with seven homers, 10 doubles, and four stolen bases across 38 games in the season's second half. He's up to a .242 average along with nine homers, five stolen bases, and a .750 OPS across 68 games as he also missed significant time with a shoulder injury earlier in the season.
