7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Tyler Lyons came back off the disabled list on Saturday. He will likely take back his main role as a long reliever. He has found success in the role, and has made spot starts in the past. With Alex Reyes and Carlos Martinez back soon, and the way Jack Flaherty filled in, it is not likely that he will see any starts. While he has not had a very good season this year, it is still early and he is coming off his best season yet. Last year, he had 68 strikeouts with a 2.83 ERA. His SO9 was 11.3 last season and is down two points this year.--Blake Sullivan
