Tyler Lockett Works As Primary Receiver
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver/returner Tyler Lockett got his first chance to be the team's primary outside target on Monday night, and he did a solid job in the role. Lockett led the team in targets, catches, and yards while hauling in a touchdown in the team's loss to the Bears. Lockett still worked as the primary return man as well, and his versatility makes him one of the most exciting players on the field. Like usual No. 1 Doug Baldwin (who is out with a knee injury), Lockett doesn't really fit that mold of being big or overly fast or anything else. Instead, his pinpoint route running and sure hands make him an above-average player in just about every facet. He should continue to do well while filling in.
