Tyler Lockett Bounces Back In Week 8
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett had struggled for the last two weeks, but he played exceptionally well in the team's Week 8 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He caught 12 of his 13 targets for 142 yards. This was the first time since Week 2 that Lockett had more than 57 receiving yards in a single game. The only thing that held Lockett back from an even better day was finding the end zone. Lockett's 13 targets were seven more than any other wideout on the team, and they represented a greater than 50 percent target share on the day. Lockett is still a rather boom-or-bust player as long as Geno Smith is the quarterback, but Russell Wilson (finger) could be back after the Week 9 bye.
