6 months agoColorado Rockies relief pitcher Tyler Kinley was tasked with holding a three-run lead versus the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. The right-hander threw a scoreless final frame to earn his second save of the season. He needed only nine pitches to retire the red-hot Phillies lineup. Kinley holds an ugly 7.59 ERA this season but he has looked much better in May. It's worth noting that Jalen Beeks and Justin Lawrence both pitched on Saturday. That being said, both pitchers were probably unavailable which is why Kinley got the save chance. He might be working his way into more save chances, but this situation is a mess right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
