Tyler Higbee Expecting Big Workload For Gerald Everett
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee was a fantasy gem down the stretch last season, compiling four straight games of at least nine catches and 100 yards at one point in December. This year, he's being drafted as about the eighth tight end off the board. On Friday, Higbee told reporters that he expects fellow tight end Gerald Everett to get plenty of opportunities to make plays this season. While it's good to see Higbee's confidence in his teammate, it's bad news for Higbee's fantasy upside. Higbee's impressive run late last year all came while Everett was sidelined with a knee injury. Higbee and Everett had been sharing tight end pass-catching duties about 50/50 before then. If the two split tight end targets once again, it will make it hard to trust either of them with any confidence.
