Tyler Higbee Continues To Be Avoidable
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has continued to disappoint despite being an almost every-down player for the team. The veteran has just five catches on nine targets during the three games that Cooper Kupp has played this season. Higbee should not be started unless absolutely needed and may even be dropped for guys like Logan Thomas, David Njoku, and Gerald Everett. Treat the 30-year-old as a low-end TE2 and only a start in extremely deep leagues during the team's Week 8 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

Tyler Higbee Caps Comeback Season With Huge Finale
2 months agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee suffered a catastrophic knee injury in last year's Wild Card game, but this year he had a triumphant return at the end of the season and finished the season with a big game against the Eagles. He hauled in a team-high seven catches while finishing second on the team with 10 targets. He finished with 54 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 28-22 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. Higbee had five catches for over 50 yards last week against the Vikings and scored two touchdowns in his three regular-season games. Higbee has one year remaining on his current deal and will look to be a more regular contributor all season next year. From what he showed once he came back, the 32-year-old has the potential to be a top-10 TE if he remains in the same role in 2025.

Tyler Higbee Off The Injury Report
2 months agoAccording to Sarah Barshop of ESPN, Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (chest) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Higbee exited Monday's wild-card game against the Minnesota Vikings early. Before exiting, Higbee caught all five of his targets for 58 yards. He opened the week as a limited participant and was able to upgrade to a full participant during Friday's session. The 32-year-old made his season debut during Week 16 due to a torn ACL and MCL. Over his first four games, Higbee has scored twice and averaged 31 yards per game. He should be viewed as a low-end option in DFS formats this weekend, as the Eagles have allowed the second-fewest PPR points to opposing tight ends this season.

Rams Expect Tyler Higbee To Play On Sunday
2 months agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said he expects tight end Tyler Higbee (chest) to play versus the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in a Divisional Round clash. Higbee was limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday after leaving the wild-card win over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night with a chest injury that was serious enough to send him to the hospital. However, the 32-year-old was quickly discharged, and the Rams are optimistic that Higbee won't miss the Divisional Round tilt this Sunday against the Eagles in Philadelphia. If he can return to a full practice by Friday, he could even be removed from the final injury report for the weekend. Before hurting his chest on Monday, Higbee was being peppered with targets and caught all five of them for a season-high 58 yards. He also have five catches on seven targets for 46 yards and a TD in Week 18. Coming off his injury, Higbee will be a risk/reward, low-cost TE for DFS lineups in the Divisional Round if he's active. UPDATE: Higbee was limited again on Thursday.

Tyler Higbee Limited Wednesday
2 months agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (chest) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Higbee's participation in practice this early in the week is excellent news for the Rams considering that the injury sent Higbee to the hospital after Monday night's game. Higbee has now played in four games this season after missing most of the regular season with a torn ACL. He is one of quarterback Matthew Stafford's favorite targets which was evidenced by his five receptions for 58 yards in Monday's victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Higbee was previously reported to be trending towards playing this weekend, but his practice participation further sheds a positive outlook on his status. The Rams face the daunting task of beating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round this weekend. Should he ultimately play, Higbee will be a huge offensive piece for the Rams against an excellent Eagles defense.
