Tyler Herro Leads Heat In Scoring Tuesday Night
5 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard Tyler Herro ended up as the team's leading scorer in Tuesday's matchup against Atlanta, producing 29 points in 29 minutes off the bench. He missed only two of his nine shots, went 3-for-4 from behind the arc and 12-for-16 at the line. Herro was unstoppable in the second quarter when he scored 19 points. Caron Butler was the last Heat rookie to get that many points in a quarter, doing it back in 2003. 29 points in a game is the most ever by a Miami rookie coming off the bench. Herro has started the season well and at first glance, it looks like even Jimmy Butler's presence won't have a negative effect on his production.
