Tyler Glasnow Walks Four In No-Decision
8 months agoMaking his Dodger regular season debut, starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow went five innings in a no-decision in Wednesday's Opening Day contest in Seoul, South Korea versus the San Diego Padres. Glasnow was a big acquisition by the club from the Tampa Bay Rays this offseason and tossed five innings. In those five innings, Glasnow allowed five hits, two runs, four walks and struck out three. It wasn't the eye-popping numbers that managers are accustomed to with Glasnow, but pitchers tend to start slower than hitters in most seasons. The four walks were up and the three K's were down, but managers shouldn't have reason to worry. Glasnow will be a big piece for both the Dodgers and managers this season with his only knock being that he hasn't been durable throughout his career.
