Tyler Glasnow Strikes Out Eight In Quality Start Tuesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven innings against the Yankees on Tuesday night. After a rough outing on May 21 in which he failed to pitch five full innings, Glasnow has bounced back nicely in his last two starts against New York and Kansas City, combining to record 19 strikeouts while allowing just three runs over 15 innings of work. Despite the solid performance on the mound, Glasnow has not received much in the way of run support, as his last win came on May 3 against the Angels. While he's not getting many wins the past few weeks, he still remains one of the top starting pitchers in fantasy, and he should have a nice matchup in his next start against Texas.
