Tyler Ervin Heads To Injured Reserve With Foot Ailment
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Tyler Ervin (foot) is set to be placed on Injured Reserve due to a foot ailment, which could very well end his 2020 season. With just four games remaining in the regular season, Ervin is expected to miss at least a month due to the injury that he sustained in Sunday's win over Philadelphia. Ervin's absence in the backfield leaves the duo of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams as the two primary ball-carriers. Rookie A.J. Dillon remains on the COVID-19 list. In addition to his role as an RB, Ervin has also combined to return 10 kicks and five punts for 216 yards. Green Bay currently has former return extraordinaire Tavon Austin on its roster, and he would seem to be a logical shoe-in for any special teams repetitions that Ervin accrued on a weekly basis.
