Tyler Conklin Disappoints With Two Catches For 20 Yards
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin was a popular streaming option for the Week 14 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite facing a defense ranked ninth against opposing tight ends, fantasy managers looking for a bye week or injury replacement at the position were expecting Conklin to see extra targets and snaps with the absence of wide receiver Adam Thielen. However, with running back Dalvin Cook taking over the game with 205 rushing yards, Minnesota only attempted 31 passes, with almost half of them going to Justin Jefferson. Conklin only received two targets in the contest, turning them into two catches for 20 yards. With the uncertainty in the passing game without Thielen and facing another tough tight end matchup next week against the Chicago Bears, fantasy managers should look elsewhere for streaming options in Week 15.
