Tyler Bertuzzi A Game-Time Decision Saturday
8 months agoToronto Maple Leafs winger Tyler Bertuzzi is a game-time decision for Saturday's contest against the visiting Edmonton Oilers. Bertuzzi has been slowed by an illness of late but skated on Saturday morning. Head coach Sheldon Keefe noted that the veteran is still no sure thing to play Saturday evening. The Leafs signed Bertuzzi to a one-year deal this past offseason and after a sluggish start, he has caught fire of late with eight goals and 11 points over his last 12 games while spending some time on the top line alongside sniper Auston Matthews. For the season, Bertuzzi has tallied 15 goals and 34 points across 67 games, adding 129 shots and 78 hits to his ledger.
