2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has played well lately. Over the past three weeks, the rookie has been the RB5, averaging 17.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former BYU star has averaged 18.3 rushing attempts per game during that span, earning at least 17 in every contest. More importantly, Allgeier has at least 95 scrimmage yards in three straight games, averaging 116 yards per game during that span. This week he faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have held running backs to only 17 fantasy points per game this season, the sixth-fewest in the NFL. Furthermore, Tampa Bay held the Atlanta backfield to only 3.8 yards per rushing attempt in the Week 5 matchup between these two teams. Allgeier is a solid RB2 despite the poor matchup.--Mike Fanelli
