2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier had an outstanding performance in the team's 21-18 Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The rookie running back had 17 rushing attempts for 139 yards and 22.1 half-point PPR fantasy points, all career-highs. Furthermore, the former BYU star averaged 8.2 yards per rushing attempt against the Saints. Over the past four games, Allgeier has averaged 6.5 yards per rushing attempt. After today's performance, the rookie running back should earn more touches moving forward. Despite the change at quarterback, the Falcons remained a run-first offense this week, totaling 39 rushing attempts as a team. Fantasy players should expect a similar game plan next week against the Baltimore Ravens, which should benefit Allgeier.--Mike Fanelli
