2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier didn't play in the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints. However, the rookie was active for the matchup against the Los Angeles Rams after the Falcons placed Damien Williams on injured reserve with a rib injury. The former BYU star had 10 rushing attempts in his career debut, averaging three yards per attempt. While the yards per rushing attempt average isn't ideal, Allgeier had only one fewer rushing attempt than the starter Cordarrelle Patterson. With Williams out at least the next three games, Allgeier is worth adding off the waiver wire this week.--Mike Fanelli
