Tyler Allgeier A Risky Flex Option
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has played 58.1% of the snaps over the past two weeks with Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) on injured reserve. However, the rookie running back has struggled to produce for fantasy players. He has averaged only 4.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game and 0.34 fantasy points per touch over the past two weeks. Unfortunately, the former BYU star has recently faced several tough run defenses, and that trend continues on Sunday. The Cincinnati Bengals have held running backs to only 16.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this season. Furthermore, they have surrendered under 80 rushing yards to the position in 67% of their games this year. Between the matchup and the split workload with Caleb Huntley, Allgeier is a desperate flex option this week.
