Ty Johnson Disappoints For Second Consecutive Game
5 years agoDetroit Lions running back Ty Johnson led the Lions backfield in touches in Week 9, but not much else went his way in this one. The running back assumed by many to be the best option this backfield had to offer when Kerryon Johnson (knee) was placed on IR has not been able to establish himself through two games. Johnson totaled just 36 yards on the day and was consistently losing work to backfield mates J.D. McKissic and Paul Perkins. At the moment, J.D. McKissic looks like the only fantasy viable option of the three. Johnson will not be a recommended start in Week 10 when the Lions travel to take on the Bears in Chicago.
